Saree is the traditional Indian women’s garment. A sari is a strip of unstitched cloth, ranging from 5.30 to nine meters in length that is draped over the body in various styles. The most common style is for the sari to be wrapped around the waist, with one end then draped over the shoulder baring the midriff.The sari is usually worn over a petticoat (pavada/pavadai in the south, and shaya in eastern ….India….), with a blouse known as a choli or ravika forming the upper garment. Since early childhood we have a daily routine, since our first nursery school day. Therefore, in order to keep a balance between busy moments and free time we take up hobbies.
We could talk about a long list of hobbies or about a list of hobbies and interests. These lists are different, depending on factors like age, sex, region, family background, education or personality.
For example, let’s start a list of hobbies according to age. When we are small children, our hobbies may be:
1. playing computer games: there are kids who don’t do to the kitchen for eating, they ask for their food to be taken in front of the computer, and they are terribly angry if somebody disturbs them when they play a game
2. watching cartoons: a lot of kids watch cartoons so that they learn their replicas by heart. Cartoons which lead to hobbies are Disney ones and recently Scooby-Doo.
3. taking up different sports: football, handball, basketball, gymnastics, volleyball
4. playing a musical instrument: piano, guitar
5. looking after a pet: cat, dog, hamster, fish, parrot
6. bird watching, which means getting ready with binoculars and lots of patience and climbing mountains in order to watch eagles, for example
7. horse riding

For an actress like Katrina Kaif getting her tongue round chaste Hindi words in the long political speech in the latest release Raajneeti wasn’t a cakewalk. With her progressively thinning though yet-not-gone anglicised accent, the actress unwittingly ended up garbling some of the Hindi words during her dubbing. Once such word was ‘Satta’, which means politics. After the film’s post production was over, Katrina discovered to her horror that she had mistakenly pronounced the word ‘satta’ as ‘satya’ (truth) in one of her speeches. Given the fact that the film was ready for release and Kat herself had little time on her hands, it was virtually impossible to rectify the error. But then, a natural calamity intervened. Coincidentally, Katrina’s planned family trip to London got cancelled because of the ash cloud over Europe due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland. Instead of resting and relaxing, Katrina decided to use the free time to redub her dialogues in Raajneeti. Though Jha was already satisfied with her dubbing, Katrina insisting on improvising and correcting the mistake, even if it meant footing the bill of redubbing from her own pocket.
